Information for contributing authors
ORAL PRESENTATIONS EOS
All presentations of the EOS Congress will be in English, the society’s official language.
There
will be no translation provided.
The presentation should last 9 minutes, following which, at
the end of the session, there will
be a few minutes for
questions. Speakers are asked to adhere strictly to this
time. The
Chairpersons may interrupt the talk if you overrun.
Please hand in your presentations in USB-stick or CD-Rom.
Only digital (file format: PowerPoint/Windows 2003 version)
presentations will be accepted. As we will use wide screen
projection, PowerPoint presentations should have the format
16/09 (otherwise they may appear distorted on the screen).
If your presentation contains videos, sounds or (non-standard)
fonts, do not forget to hand in those files together with
the PowerPoint file since PowerPoint does not embed them
into the presentation.
All presentations should be handed in at the Speaker Service
Centre (Room located on level 1, room 1.14) at least
three hours prior to the start of the session, or the day
before if the presentation is in the first session of the
morning.
Computers supplied are: Intel 3.0 GHz, RAM 512 MB, 120 GBHD,
using the following programs: Windows XP Professional UK,
Office 2003 UK.
A preliminary schedule is available in the programme
section.
